As birthdays go, today was excellent. I was able to clear my entire Amazon wish list. Many birthday wishes on Facebook too!
Association, positive association. Do you have it? Do you want a positive association with people? I did and YouTube provided the vehicle to achieve this. Am I positive all the time? Nope. Generally yes, though. I really run from the negative people, not literally, well sometimes literally. I learned long ago and accepted myself that you attract to you who you really are. I really have many awesome friends. This is not to say I am awesome, just that my quality of friends is first-rate.
I am beginning something else to go along with this blog, and that is reading from specific books each day in order to strengthen my focus on where I want to go with these habits I am currently forming.
Right now I am reading “The Millionaire Next Door”. Interesting read for sure. My pension is, if I live long enough, worth more than a million. Sara will certainly do her best to keep me alive that is for sure. I was lucky in the sense that I found myself doing a job that I thoroughly enjoy doing, that has a good pension plan. This book shows you how to determine what wealth level you should be at based on income and age, that sort of thing. Many millionaires gave up some of their time to provide stats for this book. I am only eleven percent into it right now, I will report back later.
I feel like I need to watch another personal improvement video. Recharging the batteries is a must. Imagine that your state of mind is like a cup of coffee (coffee being negative input). How do you cleanse it? One drop of clear water at a time. This certainly doesn’t happen overnight, but it doesn’t take as long as you might think to improve your outlook on life. A month of reading the right material, say thirty mins a day, can be noticed. This is why I’m going back to reading as well. I expect it will improve the quality of my blog.
Right now I am watching someone’s periscope, someone that I follow on twitter. I hear Periscope is the next big thing. Are you doing it yet?
I did feel like taking a nap, but Tai Lopez kept me interested. I may actually go to bed at a decent time tonight.
Sara hadn’t been playing her PS4 much lately, mainly because I can’t sleep with sounds of violent death coming from the next room. (Sara is good at inflicting violent death, head-shots are her specialty) I didn’t know that was why she hadn’t been playing, so I asked if she could use headphones while playing. She didn’t have a definitive answer for me but google came to the rescue. She is playing Elder Scrolls online now, and I am not being distracted while I write. This is a win-win situation!
Thanks for reading!
